Hozuki-Ichi (Chinese Lantern Plant (=Ground cherry) Fair)

Schedule :9th to 10th of July
Place : Sensō-ji Temple

The Hoziki-Ichi is one of famous fair in Asakusa during the summer time. Chinese Lantern Plant marchands are aligned all along the street from the morning to the night to display their flowers.

These 2 days are also a Sensō-ji fairy day, and especially the 10th of July, visitors can receive a merit for the coming 46,000 days (126 years) after a worship.
It’s also an unique occasion to get the limited “Thunder Protector” talisman at Sensō-ji.
