Joya no Kane (New Year’s Eve Bell)

During the eve, 108 believers beat the bell and mark the beginning of the new year.

Please, note that during the Hatsumōde period (from December 31th, 22pm to the 3rd of January), the Nakamise shopping street will be a one-way road at daily peak hours.
