Setsubun is a traditional ritual from the 14th century (Muromachi era) where dried soybeans are throwded around to get rid of bad luck and to welcome good luck, with the words “Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!”, which means “Demon (=Oni), get out! Luck (=Fuku), get in!”.

Schedule: 3rd of February

The ceremony is divided in two parts, one at 13:00 and the second at 14:00.
